i have added more to the site lately, thats why i havent posted in here for a while, almost forgot about this blog actually lol,… DT Gaming now includes a racing/ driving section with games like Need For Speed, Grand Theft Auto and some free online racing games too,… layout of the site has changed a little as well so all the new game links could fit neatly on the page,… DT clan is also trialing a clan rank system, should help encourage the clan members to participate and to reward members for getting more involved…

DT Gaming evolution continues…

I have made some more changes to the site, now more games can be added freely, next game to be added to the list is WolfET, very cool game and very customisable (much like SOF2) so i’m looking forward to tweaking it and making it even more enjoyable,…
I will be adding more content links to the site soon as well with links to blogs like this and other DT related blogs and sites i have, 1 has been integrated into the DT Shop page and serves a great purpose there, 1 will be integrated into the Videos page and i will be using individual posts from this blog for info links like “more about DT” and “DT recruiting standards” and such, pretty soon all this interwebs stuff is going to merge together into 1 multi-functional gaming site, stay tuned…

DT Clan Membership Process

theres a little saying i use to use,.. “we dont recruit strangers, we invite friends”, so with this in mind it will take a little time for us to get to know new players, during this time we observe the new players game attitude in the servers, bad attitude includes things like any insults, bad accusations, over cocky and general immaturity, examples would be people who say they are” leet”, will “own”, callin people “noobs”, “bs” and repetitive accusations of “hax”, sore losers and gloaters eg “i win, im the best”, “you suck” etc, none of this will be tolerated, we are gamers who are here to enjoy ourselves, win or lose, and we play fair and with sportsmanship, we arent brilliant players and to be honest a new players game performance has no effect on the decision, it can take time for the majority of the clan to get to know new players and depending on game and forum participation (which is also monitored) this could take upto a week, when i feel they have been around enough then i put it to discussion in the forum and if majority clan agrees then the new player becomes a member,…. so, if you have some patience and the sort of attitude where looking for then by all means let us know in the DT forums

The Clan

The clan was the first thing to be created, when i first started playing online i noticed alot of clans and how sereous they took things, i also noticed alot of immaturity among the game servers and realised the severity of the game hacking issue so i set out to create a clan that wasnt like the others, my first members were friends and relatives who lived not far from me and some chat friends from yahoo.
we had a simple motto,.. play for fun with a good attitude and dont cheat. friends of friends started signing up and over time met a few clans with similar intentions,.. first of these was www.vaudvillany.com who gave me alot of experience in running a game server and server admin etc, they became a clan around that time and i became a member and admin there, this gave me more experience in running a clan and what it takes to be an admin, they recently changed to www.darksaintproductions.com, they donated a SOF2 server to me for the DT clan over 2 years ago and i am still using it to this day, for that i am highly thankful and will always consider Vv to be my sister tribe and Merrick a great friend.
Also met SBC clan and played alot on their game servers, eventually took on a couple of their ex-members and we competed (scrimmed) against them a few times, then i noticed UA clan and became friendly, a scrim here and there until their clan disbanded and i took on a few of their players (now DT admin), players have come and gone for various reasons but those that remain are dedicated gamers with great attitudes.

DT Gaming

ok i set up this blog to further assist the online gaming community, its still in the early stages so bear with me and feel free to comment.

this is my established gaming site, recently changed url to better represent the site, about 4 years ago i started this site on free hosting like angelfire and geocities and i had 3 or 4 clan members, we only played soldiers of fortune 2 multiplayer online, i registered dirteedans-sof.com in 2007 and paid a host.

as friends of friends became interested and word of mouth got around i started gaining more clan members, then slowly started adding other games to the site and expanding into other gaming arenas, we have grown to currently include 8 first person shooter style games (4 of them are free to download) with more games being added regularly.

the site is constantly undergoing improvements, the forum is expanding and a shop has been incorporated to provide a categorised mix of free and bargain programs to enrich your gaming experience and online entertainment, this will also be constantly improving as my admin team continue to research new games and gaming products.

we also have a healthy collection of game demonstration videos to showcase our gaming style and give viewers an idea of what the different games are all about.
